Welcome to my little home on the web. Much like my physical home, this place is perpetually under construction. Ignore the dust, don't trip over the crowbar, and help yourself to a seat and something caffeinated.
I'm largely allergic to social media, but I have been known to turn up at a convention or two, where I'm generally happy to chat about writing and stories and such. I'll always be at Narrativity, on account as how I'm con chair, for my sins.
Know a good con with a strong writing track, and lots of people whose idea of fun is to spend the weekend geeking out about the craft? Tell me about it!
Some Useful Writing Stuff:
Oblique Strategies - Based on the cards devised by Brian Eno, this generates a new odd phrase or suggestion every time, which might just be the thing to get that scene un-stuck.
Patricia C. Wrede's blog - Some of the best writing advice on the web, all from the starting position of There Is No One True Way.
InkFoundry - A nifty aggregator site for paid-published spec fic short stories. Works kinda like AO3, though most of the stories are hosted elsewhere.
